Ashlyn Riley, LPC, LCDC
Ashlyn is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, and Acudetoxification Specialist. She earned her Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from South University and her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of North Texas. For the last 10 years, Ashlyn has worked within the homeless services and addiction communities and specializes in Dual Diagnosis for both Adolescents (15+) and adults.
Ashlyn has experience working with adults, adolescents and their families who experience anxiety, depression, trauma and substance use disorders; gaining extensive experience within the homeless shelter system as well as both Outpatient and Residential Centers. Ashlyn is trained on Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Mental Health First Aid, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
She utilizes Client Centered, Strength Based, and Expressive Art approaches to provide holistic care based on individual need through collaboration, compassion, and unconditional acceptance.
She believes that therapy is a way to be supported in your journey to discovering your full potential and is a great place to start for growth and change. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys seeing the progress people can make through time and care.
