“I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become”- Dr. Carl Jung. These words inspire me as I work with individuals seeking to heal trauma and manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I firmly believe adverse events do not have to define us. As a therapist I want to offer you a safe space to do your healing work, evidence-based tools to facilitate growth, and support on your journey.

I have experience working with survivors of sexual assault, abusive relationships, and those challenged by depression, anxiety, and PTSD. As a military spouse I am drawn to working with Veterans and their spouses. I also have a passion for working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals as well as private practice.

I use techniques from Cognitive Behaviorial Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also draw from Existential modalities as well. I believe finding meaning in your life (the why) is as critical for healing as the interventions used (the how). I believe in a collaborative approach and would appreciate the opportunity to build a treatment plan that is effective and feels comfortable and safe to you.
